Along with a pool of 6-8 CRNAs, they cover 7 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, and an OB service on a daily basis. Their OR case mix includes General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery (backs), Ophthalmology, Cardiothoracic (thoracoscopies, pericardial windows), Vascular (carotids, peripheral vascular), and Chronic Pain. Their Endo cases include EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs. The OB service is fairly busy, with approximately 150-175 deliveries per month. Very few of these OB patients are high-risk. They have established acute pain management and perform single shot peripheral nerve blocks. They do no heads and no hearts. They have flexibility in terms of hours and call.

Join one other Interventional Cardiologist in practice.  The call will be every 1 in 5 because he is sharing his call with a group practice of three.  He currently sees 20 + patients per day in the slow season and last year during the busy season he was seeing 30 + patients per day.  He averages 150 interventions per year and he expects his partner to eventually be just as busy as him. 

 

His office does not have a cath lab but he does have a stress lab, echo, and ultrasound in his office.  You would have the opportunity to do peripheral non-invasive procedures as well.   He has privileges at all three hospitals and does utilize all three.

Physician would rotate 3 on 4 off. This position is for day shift from7am-7pm seeing avg. 30 patients per shift. Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - off Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Go back Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - off Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Shifts worked are approximately 14-15 month. All ancillary departments are available. There is an urgent care/fast track in same location as ER. This can be a hourly or salaried position; plus health, life insurance, 403-B, pension, malpractice, CME, vacation and PTO.

Due to overall expansion with the Hospital and population growth in the community. If you are interested in joining a family oriented team of EM physicians this is THE OPPORTUNITY you don't want to miss. No Trauma, 9 hour shifts 9 hr day and evening shifts and 8.25 hr night shifts (7-4, 8-5, 3-12, 5-2, 11-7:15am.) 14 night shifts every 16 week. Base salary of $134/hr with a max potential with incentive plan well above $275k. Generous vacation and1 week CME, Responsibilities include cross covering at our two community hospitals (Volume 45k) is staffed with 3 MDs and 1 EM PA, Double physician coverage between 8am and 2am with the 3rd provider a PA 11am-11pm and single from 2am -8am. In addition to that, there is separate PA coverage of our fast track from 9am-12 midnight. Fast track takes about 40% of the ED volume (~27K in main ED and 18K in fast track).

Second hospital(Volume 25k) is staffed with 2 MDs and 1 EM PA. Separate EM PA runs fast track at both hospitals. All admission orders and codes are handled by our 24/7 Hospitalist program. Single physician coverage at (23K volume) with 2nd provider PA from 1pm - 11pm. In addition, there is separate PA coverage of our fast track from 10am - 10 pm. Fast track also sees about 40 % of ED volume (~14K in main ED and 9K in fast track.) Full-time is roughly 1,630 hrs clinical. Paid 37.5 hrs/wk. North Carolina: Central, 25 minutes from Greensboro

Search for one residency trained Emergency Medicine Physician for a private, democratic, emergency medicine residency trained group who practice exclusively at one hospital. The emergency department sees over 40k visits/year.  It is not a trauma center.  (Our medical staff does not include neurosurgery, CVT surgery or plastic surgery.)  Trauma is transferred to nearby trauma centers ranging in distance from.  Approximately 60% of ED patients are admitted.  Group has had the contract with hospital since 2000.

The group is comprised of six providers and employ one full-time PA for the fast-track.  They desire seven partners to be fully staffed.

The group works 9 hour shifts (7a-4p, 3p-12a, 10p-7a), 145-150 hours/month per physician.  They do their own billing. 

The group is looking for recently-trained ABEM B/C physicians.  ABEM Grand-fathered physicians will not be considered, nor will PCP boarded physicians.  Candidates are not required to live in the community, but preferably within an hour of hospital.

MS group seeks a physician to join their private practice in 2010 due to the retirement of one physician.  This group consists of 5 physicians and 6 extenders.  Group became a private practice in '98.  They provide Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care services in addition to Emergency Medicine for Hospital.  The Occ Med/Urgent Care is staffed by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.  The volume in this department alone is about 17,000 annually. The ED has 18 beds.  Hospitalists handle all admissions and we have 24 specialties represented on the Medical Staff.

In the ER, we have single physician coverage.  The annual volume is 26,000.  The physicians work 12-hour shifts from 7 to 7.  Additionally they have an extender from 11A-2A in which time this person would see 25-40 patients.  The new physician would work 10-12, 12-hour shifts monthly.  They provide coverage only at Rutherford Hospital although some of the providers have done moonlighting at other facilities at their option.

Hospital call is for consultation only-no direct admits. 12-15 pts are followed daily, mostly for diabetes management, with and average of 2-3 new consults per day. Seeking to employ a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible family practice physician to join with two other employed family practice physicians.  This position meets all of the criteria for a J-1 visa waiver through the Delta Regional Authority.  This physician will share call with four other family practice physicians in the market.  Hospital privileges are required for this opportunity.     

 

The financial package provides a competitive compensation for services, malpractice insurance and a sign on bonus. The package includes a relocation/moving allowance with a house-hunting trip.
